NATIONAL BANK
OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

In 2014, I participated in the renovation of the building - an architectural monument of the Stalinist Empire, academic architect Parusnikov - of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. I created the painting "Belarussian Land" 70 square meters and a set of stained glass windows in the Bank's foyer.

The central panel - I painted according to my memories associated with the Braslav lakes. I moved away from one hundred percent realism, and took a decorative style as a basis. I stylized the image of nature in a conventional, decorative quality, while not simplifying the space, preserving the foreground and background, creating depth.

The side panel is thematically connected with the central panel - this is the theme of lakes, mighty oaks and delicate fragrant lilac.

On these fragments you can see how I stylized the crown of trees, leaves and trunk.
