IN PENTHOUSE
Often the task of painting in the interior of small apartments is to visually expand and increase the space.
In the two-story apartments, the stairway turned out to be very cramped and high.
My clients asked me to transform this complex and unattractive corner.
To decorate the stairwell, I chose a grisaille painting. This technique is based on a combination of only two or three tones of pastel colors. Nature: water, sky, trees always act very peacefully. And I love to use the theme of Belarusian nature in the interior.
I don't like hyperrealism in painting. I always style trees, foliage. Volumetric foliage, tall trees always increase the space.
Heapy, contrasting clouds create volume and the illusion of wind movement. The entire painting is based on chiaroscuro and contrasts of colors similar in tone.
