ABOUT

Alexey Naumenko is a monumental artist and painter based in Wrocław, Poland. Graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in Minsk in 2006 he practices as a multidisciplinary artist and designer.

He creates unique artistic objects and exceptional interior design pieces — mirrors, paintings, stained glass windows, lighting, monumental frescoes and furniture while using both traditional and experimental techniques and materials. 

In 2014, I participated in the renovation of the building - an architectural monument of the Stalinist Empire, academic architect Parusnikov - of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. I created the painting "Belarussian Land" 70 square meters and a set of stained glass windows in the Bank's foyer.

In 2015, I had the honor to create a visual setting for the permanent exhibition of the museum of the outstanding graphic artist and composer Napoleon Orda as part of the project "Cross-border Center for Dialogue of Cultures in Łosice and Worocewicze".

In 2016, I participated in the renovation of the building - Basilian Monastery building is a late-baroque architectural monument - the Orthodox Intercession Monastery of Saint in Tolochina. I did the painting of columns and walls.

In 2020, I started working on stained glass windows in the Church of Corpus Christi in Minsk. They depict, among others, the figure of St. Rafał Kalinowski, born in Vilnius, participant of the 1863 uprising, and founder of the Carmelite monastery in Wadowice.

In 2021, I participated in the first stage of renovation works of the façade of the church tower. Saint Apostles Peter and Paul in Żagań.

In 2022, I started working on stained glass in the Church of the St. Nicholas the Bishop Parish in Skrzydlna. The stained glass complex in all windows of the church with a total area of 100 sq m.

2006 – diploma work in main building of Belarussian State Academy of Arts, stained-glass window executed in Tiffany technique with glass melding;

2004 – anniversary exhibition of Belarussian State Academy of Arts, graphic work is presented;

2001– state exhibition of young artists, three oil pictures are proposed - dead nature and two landscape;

1999 – state exhibition of prominent students of schools and artistic institutions of higher learning
